SPF: Spray polyurethane is appropriate when a complete tear-off isn’t appropriate. The high-density foam sprayed on the roof fills in all leaks, cracks, and gaps, forming a waterproof barrier.
BUR: Built-up roofing is the ol’ dog on the block. An economical option that’s not really used these days, because of superior alternatives like EPDM.
